“Give me your badge, and your gun.” “You’ve got some vacation time comin up-“

“See you in hell.”… “You first!”

“Give me one good reason I shouldn’t just kill you right now.”

“I should have killed you when I had the chance!”

                               “It’s all over…give it up...”

“Is that all you got?” / “Is that the best you can do?”

“He’s standing right behind me, isn’t he?”

           “Yeah. A little TOO quiet.”

“But So-and-so lives on, as long as we remember him in our hearts.” / “So-and-so lives here [point to head] and he lives here [point to heart.]”

“What part of _____________ don’t you understand?”

The “I’m not leaving you!”- “You have to go on without me!” exchange.

                  “According to my calculations…”

“Don’t you die on me!” or “Don’t you die on me. Not today, not like this.” Or, “Don’t you die on me. That’s an order! You hear me?!?”

“Hold onto your hats” ,“Buckle your seatbelts.”

“Now, people! Now! Move it!!”

“I told you, I work alone.”

“You don’t have the guts.”

“Sir, you’re going to want to take a look at this.”

“Boss, you’re gonna want to take this.” [Holding up phone]

“Time is the one thing we don’t  have!”

“Sir, you better get down here.”

“This better be good!” (Usually used when the phone rings at an ungodly hour to inform someone important that the world is about to go to hell in a hand basket)

                     “Get me the President!”

                                “This ends now.”

                  “Welcome to the big leagues.”

“Guess they didn’t teach you that back in ___ school.”

                                  “Who’s in charge here??”

          “Looks like we’ve got company.”

“I’ve got a bad feeling about this.”

“Now we can do this the easy way, or the hard way. Its up to you.”

                                    “That’s gotta hurt.”

“He’s good. I’ll give him that.”

                    “It’s the only way.”

                        “Lets do this.”

“In a world where _____ is _____, one man stands alone.”

“I’m getting too old for this.”

“Looks like I picked the wrong day to quit ____.”

      “It’s now or never pal.”

         “Give it all you got.”

“Drop your weapons! Nobody wants to die here today!”

“Tell me somethin- you ever killed a man??”

          “I think we lost ’em.”

“I only know how to do two things, _____ and kick ass.  And I’m all out of _____.”

“Its crazy. But it just might be crazy enough to work-“

                   “Not on MY watch.”

“I eat _____ like you for breakfast.”

“If I don’t make it…”..”Don’t you talk like that!”

“You’re either in, or you’re out. What’s it gonna be??”

                       “It’s _____ time.”

 “Never leave home without it.”

“I may not like him…but Goddamnit do I respect him.”

 “Get off my _______!”  (plane/train/ship).

“You are not above the law.”

“Who are you, some kind of superhero??”  “No, I’m just a regular ____ who’s havin a bad day.”

[Man on his knees in the rain, yelling] “NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!”

“Well, well, well, what have we here??”

                  “What have we done??”

                        “MY GOD!”

“I’m gonna need you to trust me on this one.”

“No! This is something I need to do alone.”

“You ready for this??”  “I was born ready.”

There’s gotta be one for the girl that drops a guy three times her weight with a ninja kick and then says she learned it growing up on a military base because her dad was a general.

Though that line has certainly become a cliche in colloquial usage, it only appeared in the Terminator movies and so would not technically qualify as a “cliche action movie line.” For that it would have to be one that appears with regularity in a number of mainstream action movies. See the difference??

Not cliche, only in one movie, “Terminator.” Re-acquaint yourself with the meaning of the word “cliche.” Love the enthusiasm though, do let me know if you come up with any good ones I missed!! All the best, JD

    Hi Mr/Ms JD,
    Mother Hen here.
With little to do in the coop but sit on her eggs and be the world’s foremost typing chicken, Mother H relies heavily on the satellite signal that she…um…shares with Farmer Brown. Needless to say, she has watched some pretty cheesy movies in her time.
So, without further ado, some classic additions to your impressive list.
    “Spread ’em.”
    “You must be CRAZY, man!”
    “It’s now or never!”
    “Give it all you’ve got.”
“He’ll live to fight another day.”
“They don’t make them like that any more.”
“If I don’t make it, tell_______ I love her.”
“Can you give me a hand here?”
“It’s good to know you’ve got my back.”
“Whadda ya mean ya didn’t ________?” (get gas, buy ammunition, pass along the message, etc.)
    “They’ll never find us here.”
“Have you ever killed a man?”
“Whatever you do, don’t ______.” (stand up, sleep with the girl, put your gun down, etc.)
“I told you not to do that!”
    “Who’s in?”
“Don’t go ’til I tell you to.”
“Get in the car! Get in the CAR!”
“How do you know so-and-so?” “We did time back in…”
“Where did you learn to drive like that?”
“How do we know we can trust you?” “You don’t.”
“I think we’re being followed.” “I think we lost ’em.”
“I taught him all he knows.”
“I shouda known it was you.”
    “He wouldn’t dare!” He dares.

Mother Hen could do this all night, but it’s prime time, and she does have her priorities.
    Yours theatrically,
    Mother Hen
